What is Kung Fu Cubs?

Kung Fu Cubs mission is to support confidence and development in children aged 3-5 through fun and friendly martial art classes designed specifically for the early years age group.

Helping to build core strength, school readiness, a healthy active lifestyle as well as listening and attention skills through exciting skills, drills and games Kung Fu Cubs is the perfect introduction to a martial art journey.
We use reward charts, tags and stickers to keep all our Kung Fu Cubs excited and motivated to train, with eight different skills to work on a rotating basis as they work through the belt levels there’s always something new to learn. Our classes are dynamic and exciting taught by DBS cleared, first aid qualified staff with a passion for both martial art and helping children become their happiest most confident selves.
Our program combines over 20 years of Martial Art experience and an early years background with sound knowledge and experience in Child Development. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) which is the same development curriculum used in schools, pre schools and nurseries to asses and support all the areas of learning including Physical Development, Personal Social and Emotional and Communication and Language.
Our Kung Fu Cubs get the best head start both on and off the mat!

Would just like to say a huge thank you to kelly and her brilliant team in Stourbridge!! My daughter had never attended any type of martial arts class before and they made her feel so welcome and at ease! The classes are fantastic, Kelly and her team are so patient and so encouraging and I would highly recommend them! They have really boosted my daughters confidence with her physical skills! I cannot thank them enough!!

Had a taster session for my son he never taken to a class before but here he felt so comfy and excited to go again just signed him up after the taster session as a family of 5 it's still very much affordable having 2 lessons a week so I would Highly recommend (and have done to friends with similar aged kids) to go and see as it's deffinatly worth it!

My 4 year old daughter Maggie has been going for a few months and loves it. She looks forward to going, and she thinks that the Sirs and Miss are fab. She's already a confident girl but needs to listen more, and this class definitely helps. We will be sending her little brother when he is old enough.
